BD Cool Down Turbo Timer	$142.50
BD Cool Down Timer Protect Your Turbocharged Engine with the BD Cool Down Timer! Switching your engine off after a heavy haul when the exhaust temperature (EGT) is above normal can result in turbo bearing damage. With the engine stopped, there is no oil flow over the hot turbocharger wheel and bearing assembly, which causes burned oil residue ("coking") and eventual turbo failure. That's the bad news. The good news is, you can prevent this from happening with the BD Cool Down Timer (CDT) or Cool Engine Shut Down (CES). Simply set the shut down temperature, lock the doors and walk away the engine will shut down at the temperature you have specified. The CDT works with any K-Type EGT probe commonly found in most analog pyrometer gauge kits. Simply wire it to an existing EGT probe, or install a new one. Maximized Duramax Braking Power! BD manufactures Exhaust Brakes for the LB7, LLY and LBZ 6.6 liter Duramax diesel engines. Give your heavy-duty Chevy or GMC the ability to navigate steep grades easily-without overtaxing your truck's braking system. While it's true that Allison-equipped applications are designed to downshift once the Tow/Haul button is depressed, the engine can easily over-rev and not slow you down-which is why the BD Brake should be considered a necessity. Like the other exhaust brakes in the BD Brake family, the BD Brake for the Duramax uses BD's exclusive Variable Orifice Technology, which provides peak retarding power throughout the engine's rpm range-not just at high rpm like other brands. The rugged, cast-iron housing incorporates BD's exclusive AlumiBronze bushing and piston ring-sealed, stainless steel butterfly shaft that has proven to stand up under the harsh, high-heat conditions of the exhaust environment. Actuated by an on board air compressor and air cylinder, the BD Brake applies factory-approved exhaust backpressure that is self-regulating; once pressure reaches the factory specification, the butterfly position changes to maintain the highest pressure possible. And thanks to the large four-inch casting, exhaust flow is not restricted when the butterfly valve is in the open position. A lighted, dash-mounted toggle switch activates the brake immediately, while flipping off the switch or applying the service brakes causes the brake to release just as quickly. BD Duramax Full Bore Exhaust Manifold 01-07	$309
BD Duramax Manifold BD "Full Bore" Exhaust Manifold Improve exhaust flow, reduce exhaust gas temperature (EGT) and realize greater power gains with the new "Full Bore" driver's side exhaust manifold for the '01-'08 GM Duramax. You may not know it, but the factory driver's side manifold is pinched down to allow clearance for the steering shaft, which actually isn't required. As a result, this manifold flows 80% of the passenger side manifold. The BD Full Bore exhaust manifold restores exhaust flow to match the passenger side, and is a direct, bolt-in replacement for the factory part (GM gasket required). The BD Full Bore manifold is made from high-silicon ductile iron to resist cracking from high temperature and vibration, and is even tapped to accept the most popular EGT probes.
