1994-02 5.9L Dodge Cummins Exhaust Manifolds
As many owners of 1994-02 Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins have come to find out, the factory exhaust manifold has a severe flaw...it cracks! The problem lies in the tendency of the exhaust manifold to overheat, causing it to expand, and then contract when it cools. All of this expanding and contracting takes its toll on the cast manifold, causing it to create heat-induced cracks. We have two solutions for this, the BD Pulse manifold and our own DPP manifold. The reason these manifolds are superior are because of their 3-piece design. Having joints allows the manifold to expand and contract, but "slip" along the joints, thus not allowing it to crack. Both units are bossed for easier installation of a pyrometer probe, and the BD Pulse unit is even ported for higher flow!
