2011 6.7L Ford Powerstroke Fuel Related
Your 2011 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke has a fuel system basically consisting of a high pressure pump and low pressure pump that supplies fuel from the fuel tank to the injectors, and a filter. This system has proved to be inefficient and problematic to say the least. We at Diesel Power Products offer several advanced "pusher" type of systems to assist in supplying fuel to the high pressure pump. We offer Pureflow kits ranging from a 100 GPH pump alone, to a 150 GPH pump with filter and water separator. We even offer kits from Glacier Diesel that are simply the filter and water separator. The reason for kits with filters and water separators is because with advancements in high pressure pumps and electronic injectors, such as on your 6.7L Powerstroke, they are EXTREMELY sensitive to any particulate matter passing through the pump and injectors. Enough matter can cause complete failure, and many times, it is not a warrantable item through Ford, because they blame the fuel quality. So having these precautions act as a preventative measure and will ensure longevity of the fuel system.
