The new 6.7L Dodge Cummins Diesel has tons of horsepower and torque straight off the showroom floor. But that's not enough, now is it? The addition of a diesel performance chip, tuner or one of Mads Electronics S-67 Smarty Programmers can not only give you the increased horsepower and torque that you are looking for but can also provide a dramatic increase in diesel fuel economy.
The Edge Juice with Attitude or a TS Performance MP-8 provides additional horsepower and torque and gives you the ability to monitor key engine parameters such as egt's (exhaust gas temperatures), transmission temperature and boost.
If you are running a dpf delete kit on your truck the Edge Attitude Monitor can also be set to automatically clear codes at start-up. The much anticipated J-67 Smarty from MADS Electronics is finally shipping. The S67 Smarty has the ability to completely turn off dpf regeneration and the EGR function for you guys that strictly plan on driving your truck off-road. The simple act of turning off regen, even if you do not do the dpf delete, should lead to massive fuel economy gains. The 6.7L's can burn up to 7 gallons of fuel in one regen event. The standard Smarty software will not turn off the dpf or egr function. In order to use this function Mads offers a free download of their ME software. We can also pre-load this software for you.
