The Bruiser Turbo Diesel system will flawlessly convert a JK Jeep Wrangler from its stock gasoline system to a finished Cummins 4BT Jeep. Every gauge and system functions as if it was stock, such as the A/C, Power Steering and ABS systems.

Power Products Unlimited, Inc. is proud to announce our partnership with Bruiser Turbo Diesel.  Bruiser has designed a turn-key conversion package for placing a 4cyl Cummins diesel engine into the 2007-2012 JK series Jeep Wrangler.  PPU currently has two divisions, Off-Road Power Products and Diesel Power Products.  The incorporation of the Bruiser conversion product into our line-up will serve as a bridge between the two sides of our company giving us a chance to showcase our expertise in both areas.

The Bruiser package is unique in the industry as it allows the full use of all the factory gauges and completely integrates into the factory ECM of the vehicle.  This allows for a seamless system that appears to be a factory conversion.

The advantages of the Cummins engine over the factory 3.8L or 3.6L are drastically improved fuel economy, lower emissions, much more useable low end torque and the potential for drastically increased vehicle performance.

The Bruiser debuted at the Las Vegas SEMA show in November and interest in the product has been reaching a fever pitch in the months following.  The next showing of the Bruiser will be at the 2012 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, UT the first week of April. The original Bruiser was built by company founder Jeff Garland of Jeff's Jeep Yard in Clearwater, FL and featured a stock mechanical VE pumped Cummins  4bt conversion getting 33 mpg.  At Easter Jeep Safari Power Products Unlimited plans on adding a performance version of the vehicle to the mix in the form of a highly modified 2009 JK.  Both vehicles will feature a very capable off-road suspension in addition to the diesel conversion.

The plan for after Easter Jeep Safari is to offer an "Off-road Only Version" of the conversion.  The conversion will be available for install at Bruiser headquarters in Clearwater, FL and at Power Products Unlimited, Inc in Spokane, WA.

Future plans for Bruiser include 50 state emissions compliance and the additional option of an electronic version of the 4 cylinder Cummins engine which is the little brother to the motor found in the later model Dodge Cummins trucks.  Additional future options will include power and accessory upgrade packages spec'd to the individual customers’ needs and wants.  All Bruiser conversions will have an emphasis on "Clean Diesel" as we believe that creating a vehicle that is environmentally responsible is one of the keys to the success of this project.
