Kory Willis, owner of Power Performance Enterprise, Inc. is the best in the business when it comes to EFILive.  Originally known for making some of the fastest Duramax's in the world, he's NO slouch when it comes to Cummins, either.  Whether you're looking to optimize fuel economy, or looking for something to snap your transmission in half with raw horsepower, you can have it.

As part of the PPEI EFILive program, you will receive a preloaded EFILive AutoCal ready to load in your truck. The AutoCal will come with four tunes. However, due to the immense size of each of the tune files, and the limited memory space on the AutoCal itself, you will only have one tune on the AutoCal at a time. In order to simplify switching between tunes, we highly recommend upgrading to the CSP4 switch that will give you a rotary style knob that you can mount on the dash to switch between the four power levels on-the-fly.

Further, for owners of 68RFE automatic transmission equipped trucks, you have the option to add transmission tuning.  One of the major benefits of having such an electronically controlled transmission are that so many factors, such as converter lock up, line pressure, and shift patterns can be controlled electronically.

*With the addition of the optional Valve Body Separator Plate (see options below), your transmission will accept the demanded pressure above 175 psi for even an even crisper shift pattern, even under hard accelerations.

VERY IMPORTANT-PLEASE READ
Due to firewalls in the factory ECM, you will be REQUIRED to first unlock the ECM.  There are several ways to unlock your ECM, but the most efficient way of doing this is to either utilize an Edge Insight CTS2 Cummins Unlock or the Unlock Device listed in the Related Products section. Both the Edge Insight CTS2 and the Unlock Device are capable of unlocking the ECM on your truck, but also act as a digital gauge to monitor various engine parameters on your truck. Further, the Insight CTS2 can be paired with any of Edge's EAS accessories to perform numerous functions including acting as a backup camera.

Another option that we give you is to purchase the Unlock Device from us (does not apply to Edge Insight CTS2), but then return the product for a partial credit.  Upon unlocking an ECM, that particular tuner can only be used to unlock another ECM after it has been reset by the manufacturer, which we must pay them to do so.  Upon receiving your Unlock Device back, we will have the manufacturer reset it and we will issue credit back to you for the full purchase amount, less $300, presuming there is no damage to the Unlock Device.  In most instances, if you choose this option, we will send you an Unlock Device that has been used by someone else to unlock their ECM.  Thus, do not be surprised if it does not come in the original packaging, as you will only be using it to unlock your ECM.  Once unlocked, you can use the pre-paid UPS shipping label we provide to ship the Unlock Device back, and we will then issue credit upon receiving it back.  This option is the best deal for most, as we have found that most of our customers tend to not use the Unlock Device after unlocking their ECM.

SUMMARY OF THE UNLOCK DEVICE RETURN PROGRAM:
1.)  Choose Option 2 below when adding the Unlock Device to your tuner package
2.)  You will be charged full price for the Unlock Device
3.)  We will ship you an Unlock Device with a pre-paid return label
4.)  Once you have unlocked your ECM, repackage the Unlock Device and ship it back to us using the pre-paid return label
5.)  We will issue you credit back for the Unlock Device, less $300

And lastly, you have the option to not purchase an Unlock Device, as possibly you have your own already, or have an alternate means to unlock your ECM.  Either way, you MUST unlock the ECM before the EFILive device can be loaded.  If you have questions on this, do not hesitate to contact us.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
First, you'll need to unlock your ECM by loading the Unlock Device into your ECM.  Next, install the EFILive AutoCal, which will take roughly 7-8 minutes.  The next step is to unplug your Throttle Control Valve (TCV), located between the intake manifold and drivers side intercooler tube.  Lastly, install your modified exhaust system, and you're set!

This is a custom tuned product. In various situations, you may receive an error code when attempting to load the AutoCal onto your vehicle. In most of these situations we will need to update your stock file. If you have any issues, please contact us with error code messages available so we may promptly resolve any issues you may be having.

Add Valve Body Separator Plate?
As previously discussed, the valve body separator plate is one of the restrictions in your transmission pump's ability to increase and maintain pressure above 175 psi. By adding this inexpensive separator plate from ATS, you will take better advantage of the transmission tuning and remove a bottleneck with the increased pressure brought from the optional transmission tuning.

As previously stated in the text above, you will be REQUIRED to unlock the ECM before installing EFILive tuning

We give you four options:

1.) We send you a brand new Unlock Device. Most would use this option if they plan to keep the Unlock Device installed in the vehicle to be used for gauges.

2.) We send you an Unlock Device that has previously been used to unlock other vehicles, thus somewhat used, only for the purpose of unlocking your ECM with the intent to return it. As discussed above, we will include a pre-paid return label to get the Unlock Device returned to us, and upon receiving it, will refund you the price of the Unlock Device, less $300.

3.) We send you an Edge Insight CTS2 Cummins Unlock. This takes the widely popular Edge Insight CTS2 that is used for gauges, back up camera, and numerous other functions, and adds the ability to unlock your ECM. This is the most popular option.

4.) We do not send you an Unlock Device, as its presumed you will be supplying your own to unlock the ECM.
