Variable geometry turbos are a major benefit in reducing emissions output and drastically reducing turbo lag due to their ability to essentially reduce the turbine housing size under low boost situations, and then open up as boost and load increases, all done by electronic input.

The professionals at BD have cracked the code and found a way to harness this technology to also create substantial retarding horsepower to slow you down. This simple to install controller and harness will simply take control of the VGT function of your turbo to dramatically slow you down as your foot is removed from the throttle, all without the need to install a traditional exhaust brake in line of the exhaust system. Further, this system has the ability to enhance transmission down shifting, creating higher RPM's, which further accentuates the amount of braking effect.
