Probably the ONLY disadvantage of diesel fuel in compared to gasoline is the fact that when temperatures begin to drop, diesel has the ability to become very viscous, referred to as "gelling." The most efficient way to prevent against hard or no-start situations due to severe gelling is by heating the fuel at the fuel filter. This kit is designed to work with BD's Flowmax Fuel Pump with filters and is essentially sandwiched between the BD filter head and water separator. Kit includes a premade wiring harness with sealed electrical connectors for a simple installation.
