If the filter minder on your Ford Severe Duty AIS Kit is showing air flow restriction then think about installing the AIS FOAM FENDER SLEEVE: The foam fender sleeve is designed to achieve better air flow using the AIS intake system. The sleeve uses a 3-1/2" diameter hole is cut in the back side of the AIS air box to make a seal to the fender opening. This allows for more air flow through the air box to accommodate vehicles which have performance modifications such as chips, programmers and exhaust systems. This modification to the AIS intake can help to lower EGTs, increase performance and mileage. This product is designed and manufactured by DIESEL POWER PRODUCTS.
