T/Rex Technology Custom Fabricated Traction Bars
Wrap-up - Referred to as both rear spring and rear axle wrap-up. As power is applied, torque load causes the rear pinion to pivot upward. Once this load reaches a certain point, the leaf springs begin to deform, which stresses numerous driveline components. The "fix" is to increase spring strength, via add-a-leafs, or install traction bars.
These traction bars by T/Rex Technology are custom built and built to last, which is why we run them on our own trucks. Built out of heavy gauge steel with Energy Suspension bushing on the frame end and greasable Johnny Joints on the axle end. The bars come in a standard 62" length and are available in a variety of colors, while black is standard. The frame end is mounted to the bottom of the frame, which will need to be drilled, while the axle mount gets located directly below the axle and spring pack via U-bolts.
On all colors, please allow one week for shipping. We will only ship these UPS Ground due to the size and weight of the boxes. If you need them sooner or need a shipping time estimate, please call us.
For 1994-2002 trucks, please indicate which axle you have (Dana 70 or Dana 80). Also, for these trucks we need a measurement from the bottom of the axle to the top of the leaf pack due to multiple differences in spring packs and block sizes that Dodge was using. Please include this in the Comments Section at Checkout. All of these model year trucks come with new U-bolts and upper mounting plate, thus the additional cost.
