FASS Suction Tube Kit
If you have a 98.5-04.5 truck it came from the factory with a block mounted lift pump. Dodge has retrofitted many of these trucks with the later in-tank pumps. When installing a FASS fuel system, you must determine if your truck has the pump on the side of the block still or now has the in-tank pump. If it does have the in-tank pump, you will need the FASS Suction Tube Kit offered here. If the pump is still on the side of the block, you do not need this kit. To determine where the pump is, turn the key to the "On" position (do not start), and listen for the hum from the pump. It will either be in the tank, or on the driver's side of the block behind the fuel filter.
