The truck in the video above is owned by Larry Brown out of Kenedy, TX. It is an 07 5.9L. In the video he runs a 12.3 but has since run a 12.16. The truck is set-up as follows: DP2 Killer B cam, Industrial Injection 64/14 turbo, Banks Intercooler, Banks Air Intake, Dr. Performance 90HP Injectors, Industrial Injection Bag-of-Parts CP3 mod, stock lift pump (yeah, you read that right), Smarty TNT and a custom transmission from APT Transmission. Prior to putting in the cam Larry ran a 13.4 afterwards he not only ran the time mentioned above but picked up 3 mph in the 1/8th mile. I wanted to post this video to show you what these trucks are capable of with some simple modification. The cam plays a huge role in what he is getting out of his truck. He is in the process of putting on a Wicked Diesel Stage II Injection pump and an AirDog II. Larry is one of our best customers and keeps us constantly updated on how each modification to his truck improves his driveability and his times at the track. If you see this truck on the road don't underestimate it's sleeper appearance. You'll probably get your ass handed to you!
