There are numerous turbo options on the market for your 6.7L Cummins. But which one is right for you? Do you want something that is a direct replacement of the factory unit without having to change your exhaust downpipe or your exhaust manifold? Do you want to keep your factory exhaust brake? If so, then you need to check out the XR1 from Industrial Injection. This direct replacement charger will deliver a noticeable gain in airflow, equating to more power, lower EGT's (Exhaust Gas Temperature), and quicker spool up compared to the factory turbo. Further, this turbo starts life out as a BRAND NEW turbo, not a remanufactured unit as most of the competition uses in their VGT offerings. Reman units are plagued with issues from faulty actuators, but this unit comes with new electronics to avoid any potential issues. The turbo features a 64.5mm billet extended tip compressor wheel that has been upgraded to seven blades, compared to the stock six blade design, to enhance airflow, but retains the stock turbine wheel size to deliver superb spool up characteristics.

Bradys initial start in fuel injection was with a local shop, mopping floors after school. By 25, Brady was a master technician at the Association of Diesel Specialists for all manufactures of turbochargers and fuel equipment. With hard work, sacrifice, and a little help from fate, 30-year-old Brady opened the doors to Industrial Injection.

Industrial Injection received its name from servicing construction, agricultural, and mining equipment, as well as over the road truck engines. It was primarily an agricultural and industrial fuel shop. However, when Ford, Dodge and GM decided to power pickup trucks with diesel engines, Industrial Injection was forever changed.

"Ok so I just got truck back from having this installed so I cant really say how it will last. But it beats the heck outta what the dealer wanted for just for the actuator . Overall great deal so far ! As long as it lasts a while id buy again! For others looking at buying this heres the questions I had and heres the answers. Does it come with the actuator? Yes Will my Ebrake still work? Yes Is it a direct drop in replacement to factory unit? According to my mechanic yes He also said he didnt have to do any additional calibration . My truck was a 2014 Ram 2500 Cummins."

Great product!

"Bought this turbo as a replacement for my failing stock turbo, install was easy and included all necessary parts and gaskets, truck has way more power and drivability has improved ten fold. I opted for the non polished compressor housing as to not draw extra attention to anything under the hood to keep everything stock appearing, And I love the louder whistle of this turbo! great product, hats off to industrial injection!"

Q&A

What is the warranty on this turbo?
Because that is a high performance turbo warranty is different then usual. Warranty would be a case by case basis. The turbo would have to go back to Industrial for inspection to be considered. They want to help out the customer as much as possible, but they are not going to warranty a turbo that is burned up from EGT or destroyed from over speeding. -Sands
Why is there a core charge if this is a new turbo?
This turbo may be new, however, a core is still required to others can be rebuilt. -Ben
I bought one of these on September 21 of last year from you. It was installed by my local garage on Sept 29. After approximately 3000 miles it is failing. Sqweels loudly when it spools up. Mechanic says the wheel is coming in contact with the housing. Is this covered under warranty? My truck is otherwise stock except for dpf delete.
I have emailed you to further work on your warranty for this turbo. -DK
