The S/175/146 injector is the mildest injector for the 1999-2003 Powerstroke. By retaining the stock nozzle size, low end overfueling is all but eliminated. Perfect for towing heavy loads, without the worry of excessive exhaust gas temperatures, loss of mileage, and excessive smoke. This is a very mild injector. No chip or programming changes are required to run these split shot injectors.

If your
cores have been exposed to gasoline, water, or poor fuel filtration,
then you can assume that all eight of the plungers and barrel assemblies
will be damaged, and will need to be replaced at a cost of $480 per
set. Normal injector wear, to include poppet valve wear, fuel plate
erosion, loss of internal spring tension, etc. is considered normal, and
these parts are repaired or replaced on every set. Normal wear will
not be subject to any loss of core charge refund.
