The High Pressure Oil Pump (HPOP) plays an important part of the 7.3L PowerStroke Diesel fuel system. PowerStroke fuel injectors are actuated by pressurized oil from the HPOP.
Have you ever had the dreaded "P1211" check engine light? That's why we're offering this pump modification as an inexpensive solution.
This modification is called a "T500", which is based off of the older "modded 17" principle, but alleviates the issues with the internal C ring, which will be eliminated in favor of a spiral lock ring. Also, the factory rear shaft support bushing is replaced with a ball bearing unit. Depending on the health of the HPOP you send in, you should have no problem holding or maintaining 3000+ psi.
This program is available in two ways. You can either send in your HPOP first for this modification, which is preferred, since you know the history of your HPOP. OR, you can opt to pay an up front core charge, and Terminator will ship you a pre-modified pump, reducing down time. HOWEVER, this is under the presumption that your pump is still in basic good condition.
When choosing to pay the upfront core charge and return your HPOP as a core, you MUST include the fittings with the core pump. Neglecting to do so WILL result in you forfeiting your core return!
NOTE: All T500 pumps are built upon order, and typically take 2-3 days to build. These pumps are automatically shipped via USPS Priority Mail, which typically takes 2-3 days to receive, and we do not have the ability to ship them via UPS where they are shipped from. Please choose "UPS Ground" as the shipping method, and it will be shipped via Priority.
