The 4130 chromoly steel is then machined to Carli Suspension's unique two tiered, internal grease port, patent pending design. After that, the ball joint is then heat treated to a specified Rockwell (hardness) that we have tested and set to make them able to withstand the meanest of beatings without showing any fatigue. From there, these Carli ball joints head to an Aero-space lube company where a proprietary dry-lube is applied to Carli's specified thickness.
Carli Suspension also designed this Dodge Ball Joint with an accessible zerk fitting for easy servicing and it even include a tube of high quality synthetic grease with each pair.
These new Carli Suspension Heavy Duty Upper Ball Joints should yield at least 3 plus times the life expectancy of the O.E.M. upper ball joint, and are even warrantied for the life of the vehicle to the original owner/purchaser of the ball joints.
