Mopar Replacement Steering Box / Gear Box
2009-2011 6.7L Dodge Cummins 2500 / 3500
In 2009, Dodge finally released an upgraded gearbox for the HD Ram line-up after YEARS of failed boxes. It was an impressive improvement over the previous boxes, but we've still seen many of them fail, especially on trucks running anything larger than 35" tires. Unfortunately, no one we've found has an upgraded box over the stock units, so we are offering this replacement directly from Dodge if you're in need of a new box. For those with pre-2009 trucks and want to upgrade to this box, give us a call. We've upgraded quite a few trucks to this box, and we can explain what is necessary to do this (not too difficult).
If you are also in need of a new pitman arm with the new box, we offer this as well in the drop down box below. It is NOT necessary to change, but we've seen a lot of trucks that have cracked the pitman arm from hard use when the gearbox fails.
