Achieving horsepower levels above 500hp is often not possible with a single CP3 high pressure fuel pump on common rail injection systems and often results in high EGT's. The BD dual CP3 kit comes with everything you need to install a second CP3 injection pump combined with the stock pump. This kit will deliver enough fuel for up to 1000 RWHP and 28000psi of rail pressure. The addition of the second pump also results in much less load on the single pump, if one pump fails, the other will keep the engine running.
The Cummins Engine control Unit request for the volume and pressure of fuel is monitored by BD's electronic controller wired into the system and will be provide volume requested with or without an increase in pressure. The pumps are easily able to respond to higher pressure requested by a tuner and consistent high volume fuel supply is available for larger injectors and extreme levels of power. The two pumps share and supply uniform balanced delivery without any flow disturbances.

This kit is available with or without a new second CP3 pump.
