If you’ve replaced the OEM steering shaft you will eventually become fed up with Dodge’s offering for a steering box on your Dodge Ram.
Borgeson has re-manufactured a modern Delphi integral power steering gearbox to upgrade the steering in your 2003-2008 Dodge pick-up. The Borgeson "Dodge Box" offers a larger piston diameter for more available power assist and a modern variable valve that allows for stable highway driving and effortless parking and maneuvering. The Borgeson "Dodge Box" will bolt directly to the stock mounting location and includes a replacement pitman arm and hose adapters for a complete bolt-in installation.
NOT FOR USE WITH SUSPENSION LIFTS REQUIRING A DROPPED PITMAN ARM
NOT FOR USE WITH TRUCKS THAT HAVE BEEN EQUIPPED WITH THE 08.5+ STEERING UPGRADE (T-STYLE FRONT END)
We recommend that these be used with a 000951 Borgeson shaft or if used with the stock shaft a corresponding flat can be ground on the Borgeson steering box adapter to fit the stock shaft.
