"Very good product but an FYI these are not long enough to fit around the battery for the 2013-2018 Cummins. They are about 1” short but 3” overall short for the overlap of the Velcro. I liked these so much I just went to a local Hobby Lobby and bought a roll of 2” wide Velcro kit and made them work. The added splice was done on the with the seam on the long side of the battery in the back of the box to help hid it. Maybe took me 20 minutes start to finish for the mod on the first battery and half that for the second one. These are very nice battery blankets and not really any others on the market so made em work easily. 2017 Ram2500 6. 7L have had them for about a year now and are in still great shape. Easily cleanable if get dirty."

"Heat Shield was actually nicer than I was expecting! Fit the batteries in my 2017 F250 nicely. Was a little tight getting the passenger side battery back into the battery box. I have the S&B intake on my truck which relocates the battery to the back of the engine bay on 2017 trucks. All in all, great quality and I believe it will do a great job keeping the engine bay heat away from the batteries."

"I bought these for my 2006 Dodge Ram 5. 9L Cummins, and said they fit, but my batteries are group 65, they fit but barely. Kept them because they are cool and better than the old felt ones, but just want the applicable vehicles updated so someone doesn't have the same issue I did."

- What is this bleeder screw for? I'm new to all this.
- This replaces a factory air bleeder screw that is made of plastic and known to strip out, causing a fuel leak. The purpose of the air bleeder screw is so when you are replacing the fuel filter, or anything else where you're servicing the fuel system and can get air in the system, you're able to bleed out the air.
- Do these fit a ZF6 as well?
- Those do not fit the ZF6 as well.
- Will this kit work with the 6th gear valve body upgrade?
- Yes that kit would work with the 6-speed valvebody.
- What’s the size? I need two for a F350
- Hello Logan, this Shield is 7.5 inches tall and is adjustable for the length via a piece of Velcro. If your F350 has the stock size batteries these will work perfect.
- Hi guys, Do you know if these will fit for a OPTIMA YELLOWTOP 9040-148 Group Size 48/H6 Dual Purpose AGM Battery? Also do people tend to put on on the passenger battery only or on both? Thanks!
