Sinister Diesel
EGR Valve and Cooler Delete Kit

2007.5+ 6.7L Dodge Cummins

If you've removed the DPF (diesel particulate filter) from your Cummins, and running a Smarty or H&S tuner, but haven't deleted the EGR system from the truck, you're missing out.  Besides the simple fact of just removing unneeded equipment from the vehicle once the exhaust is deleted, your turbo will spool noticeable quicker by not requiring exhaust to create pressure in the unused EGR cooler prior to "lighting" the turbo.  As an added bonus, one of the cooler block off plates is pre-tapped for easy installation of an EGT probe!

Product Highlights
  • Eliminates soot build up and clogged EGR valves
  • Coolant temperatures run cooler because they are not running through EGR cooler
  • Hot exhaust gasses are not being re-routed back into the engine
  • Coolant re-route hose included (no blocked off coolant hoses)
  • Completely replaces EGR valve AND cooler
  • Includes transmission dipstick and coolant hose bracket
  • Includes detailed installation instructions
  • Exhaust manifold plates are tapped for EGT probe

Please choose correct model year designation by inspecting what style of coolant tube your truck has.  And remember, just because you have a 2009, does not necessarily mean that you have the "old style" tube, you MAY have the new style, so PLEASE check!

***We have found that every 2009 vehicle should have the 2010+ kit, so please confirm what tube you have.***

"It got the job done. The bracket for the transmission dip stick was a little off and the instructions were not clear enough. Never told me about the two bolts on the back of the cooler. and some steps are backwards. I would recommend this to someone who doesn't mind a few snags on their delete process "

"Would give a 5 but had to modify the bracket from air hose and coolent hose. Put a spacer on bracket so hoses would not be touching each other. Then everything great must for every truck. "

"Best thing that can be done to the truck. The truck only has 16000km and where the egr is connected to the intake is filled with black soot already, not good for the engine. Do get this product. Only problem is the instruction book, it does well to describe what to do, especially the images, but some parts of it, doesnt really explain well, i had no problem, just had adjust a few things, but for a new guy with being his first experience would be pretty tough. But other then that it, this is something you cant regret. DONT pick sms-EGR-6.7c, the sms-EGRD-6.7c has a way better bracket to connect everything while the other doesnt really. But that one is REALLY important for the dodge 2010+ for sure though. But dont worry though, while installing the bracket and everything to it, is pretty tight, but it fits. One thing i may suggest to help the installation, is the trans. dip stick, is to pull it out a bit(not completely), just a few inchs, makes it alot easier. Just go under the truck where the dip stick connects to the trans. and unscrew the one screw(10mm socket needed i believe) that hold the dip stick down, and just pull the dip stick tube out a few inchs out, and thats it. Help me a great deal. hope it helps you too.***If you can afford it, buy the GDP mega-flo S-3 intake manifold. It its pretty much does the same thing, you need a egr delete with it, but this one does a throtle delete too(s-3 only, not the s-2). You ll get better throtle responce doing this. But the wide blue plate in the egr kit will not be needed."

"Very happy with this kit. if i could change one thing it would be, figure out a way to get the blue adapter to fit into the coolant line flush. mine sits at a slight angle causing a small gap on one side. i tryed messing with the plate and how its bolted with no luck. no leaks so im happy over all"
