The factory VGT turbo on the 6.7L Dodge Cummins has been prone to failure since the release of the 6.7L. This is especially true for those pushing the horsepower levels above factory parameters. After failure (and many times prior), truck owners are converting their 6.7L's to running a more reliable and efficient non-VGT style of turbo, such as an S300 or S400 framed charger. This is a great upgrade, but it's not as simple as bolting it right on. The 6.7L's have a unique exhaust manifold flange, downpipe, coolant lines, etc. that make the conversion difficult trying to source all of the necessary parts. The 20010-2013 Cummins S400 Turbocharger and Installation Kit offers you a Fleece Performance S467/87 Turbo along with a complete 2nd Generation style installation kit in order to install your turbo where it should have come from the factory, centered on the block, as opposed to centered on five and six.
Based off of the high flowing T4 Turbine Housing platform, the Fleece Performance S467/87 Turbocharger offer better flow and driving characteristics than what is available on the market. Expect reduced EGT’s without sacrificing your spool up and response. This turbo is a perfect match for those in the 700-850 RWHP.
Fleece Performance is pushing the limits of limited inducer turbochargers beyond expectation. The result is a smaller, better driving turbo that features a broad useable power curve, but still offers that big turbo kick. We offer this turbo both with the preferred billet wheel for increased drivability, or with a standard stamped wheel for those that need to keep the cost down.
