FREE SHIPPING POLICY

Diesel Power Products offers free Economy Shipping on most non oversized orders that total over $199 within the lower 48 states. Economy Shipping typically takes 6-10 business days to reach customers. We recommend upgrading to Ground for faster shipping. Some Oversized items have a required freight charge. In addition to shipping direct from our main warehouse, we also ship from 10 warehouses scattered throughout the US and have the ability to ship direct from many of the manufacturers that we carry. If possible we will always ship your products from the closest available warehouse.

All Free Shipping offers ONLY apply to the lower 48 states. In some cases we will extend the offer to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada but this is on a case by case basis and applies to call in orders only. We cannot offer free shipping to international orders.

FREE SHIPPING MATCH POLICY

So you found the product and/or products that you want at Diesel Power Products but found that someone else offers free shipping on that particular product and we don’t. Simple….give us a call or shoot us an email, we will do our best to match the offer.

GENERAL SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

We do everything in our power to get your order processed and shipped in the shortest time frame possible. Most orders will ship out either same day or within 1-2 business days, some exceptions may include back ordered items or items shipped directly from the manufacturer. Please allow three (3) to ten (10) business days for delivery of in-stock items. Items ordered together are not necessarily shipped together. We will notify you if any item cannot be shipped within 30 days. If you would like to check inventory or estimated ship date please contact us via phone or e-mail.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING OPTIONS

  • Economy Shipping - This option does not include a standard tracking number, only delivery confirmation is available. This is the slowest method of shipping and often takes 6-10 business days for delivery. We reserve the right to automatically upgrade this shipping option to Ground if we see fit.
  • Ground - This is our preferred method of shipping. The cutoff for Ground is 1:00pm PST in most cases. A tracking number will be available usually within 1 day of shipping.
  • 3 Day- This shipping option will guarantee delivery 3 business days after it is picked up. The cutoff for 3 Day is 1:00pm PST in most cases.A tracking number will be available usually within 1 day of shipping.
  • 2 Day Air - 2 day shipping via air transport. The cutoff for 2 Day Air is 1:00pm PST in most cases. A tracking number will be available usually within 1 day of shipping.
  • Next Day Air - Next day air transport. The cut off for next day air is 1:00pm PST in most cases. Also, it is not available for all parts. If we cannot ship it Next Day Air, but the site said it could, we will contact the buyer and let them know. A tracking number will be available usually within 1 day of shipping.

We ship through UPS, FedEx, and USPS on most orders considered non-truck freight. We will only ship to the 50 U.S. states and Canada. In the event that you, the customer, places an order to an International address other than Canada, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund. For customers in Alaska, Hawaii and Canada please consider calling in your order so we can arrange suitable shipping.

POST OFFICE BOX (P.O. BOX) SHIP-TO ADDRESSES:

In most instances, we are unable to ship to a P.O. Box due to the size and weight of the shipment. We recommend and ask that you provide a physical ship-to address at checkout. In the event that you provide a P.O. Box in the ship-to, you may experience a delay in the processing of your order while we attempt to contact you for a physical address.

SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT

For your protection and ours, we ship many packages with a signature required for delivery. If you specifically want us NOT to require a signature for delivery, please make a notation in the "Order Comments" field you see on the order form.

PLEASE NOTE: Any insurance claims for damaged items and/or stolen goods from your doorstep that are NOT honored by the shipping carrier because you requested a signature not be required for delivery is NOT our responsibility. We will not cover the cost!

Some items shipped directly from the manufacturer or alternative supplier may arrive via USPS.

OPTIONAL SHIPPING INSURANCE
We can all agree that getting new truck parts delivered to your doorstep can make you feel like a kid on Christmas morning. But when your new parts show up visibly damaged, hanging half way out of the packaging, scratched, missing parts, or maybe never even arriving (lost-in-transit), your day can quickly take a turn for the worse. Even with all of the proper packaging and protocols in place, things can, and unfortunately, do happen. And this is where shipping insurance comes into play.

For these rare instances, we offer an optional shipping insurance that ensures the timely resolution to damaged or lost-in-transit package(s).

HOW IT WORKS
Once you’ve added product(s) to your shopping cart and a shipping method has been selected, there is an optional Shipping Insurance you can opt for prior to choosing a payment method. Now that your order has been processed and shipped, it arrives at your doorstep, and “Oh, no!” its damaged or maybe it never even got that far and tracking states the package is lost in transit. Now what? Easy! All that we ask you to do is fill out the below form and we will contact you typically within one business day to discuss what options are available and how we can quickly get this solved for you. In comparison to most shipping insurance programs offered by the couriers that can take weeks to resolve, this program puts you in direct contact with us to resolve the entire matter.

Once the claim has been received and processed, we will contact you to discuss options. In most cases, we will be able to ship a replacement part out quickly to minimize any excessive downtime. Depending on the level of damage, we may supply a shipping label to receive the original product back and will process a replacement once the return tracking shows movement on the package. In the event that the originally purchased product(s) is not available, we will offer alternatives to the originally purchased product or an in-store credit. Replacement product(s) will be shipped via Ground. Any expedited shipping services must be paid for by the customer.

WHAT IT DOES (AND DOESN’T) COVER
Shipping insurance covers product(s) that is either damaged or lost while in transit to you by the original courier the product was shipped with. Shipping insurance does not cover product damaged at any point after delivery. If you misplace your package after its been delivered, its not covered. If you are driving to your buddy’s house to install your part and it flies out of the bed of your truck, its not covered. If you damage the product while you’re trying to install it, its not covered.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO FILE A CLAIM?
  • Damage Claims: Claims for product that were damaged while in transit to you must be filed within 10 days of receipt of product.
  • Lost in Transit Claims: If your package has not arrived by the expected delivery date according to the courier’s tracking, please contact us within five business days and we will initiate a lost trace to determine the location or status of your package(s). This process can take up to eight days to verify the package has been lost-in-transit.

MIS-SHIPMENTS OR MISSING PARTS
Upon receiving your order, please inspect the package(s) as soon as possible to verify its contents are accurate and complete. We must be contacted within 10 days of you receiving the order if there is an issue and we will do everything we can to resolve the issue in a timely manner. Replacement parts will ship with Ground service. In the case of a mis-ship, the original incorrectly shipped part will have to be in transit back to the warehouse you were instructed to return it to prior to a replacement being shipped to you.

SERVICE LEVEL GUARANTEES
First things first, what are service level guarantees? Service level guarantees are a guarantee by the shipping couriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.) that your package will arrive within the time frame as indicated on the originally requested shipping method. For example, if you pay for Next Day Air and the package takes four days to get to you, if a Service Level Guarantee is in place, you may be eligible for a refund (partial or full) on the shipping cost. Shipping insurance does not cover service level guarantees. Most couriers have in place their own guarantee that is separate from damage or loss protection (Shipping Insurance). We support and follow the protocols already in effect by the couriers for Service Level Guarantees.

FRAUDULENT CLAIMS
Customers that have submitted more than one claim may be subject to longer processing times due to an increased level of effort in investigating the authenticity of the claim. Fraudulent insurance claims may be subject to litigation.

SHIPPING LOCATIONS

Although we operate out of Spokane Valley, WA, we have shipping warehouses all across the country. We do this because it usually speeds up the shipping to our customers. With multiple warehouses, most of our parts will reach the customer faster than if we shipped everything out of Spokane Valley, WA. If you want to know which area of the country a part will be shipped out of, just give us a call. Also because we have multiple warehouses, we sometimes will ship a part a longer distance because the warehouse nearer is out of stock.

EXITSHIP Coupon Code Policy

We are offering free upgraded shipping on most non oversized orders that total over $199 within the lower 48 states when using the coupon code "EXITSHIP". To obtain this coupon code you must provide us with your valid e-mail address and agree to receive marketing and promotional e-mails from Diesel Power Products. Once used, this coupon code allows you to select UPS Ground shipping at no extra charge. Some Oversized items have a required freight charge. This coupon may not be used with other coupons or offers. Limit one use per customer.

MILITARY BASE (APO/FPO) SHIPPING OPTIONS

We currently are unable to ship to military bases through our online checkout because our default shipping suppliers, UPS and FedEx, do not offer any shipping options for Army Post Offices or Fleet Post Offices. If you would like us to ship your order to an APO or FPO, then please give us a call at 888-993-4373 and we can manually process your order over the phone and ensure your order is shipped via USPS to avoid any potential issues.
