Are you ready for some more BOOST?! When it comes time for a turbo upgrade, there are a ton of options on the market. And choosing the right charger can be a finicky decision. You don't want to go too big, otherwise the driving and towing manners of your truck will suffer. But at the same time, you don't want to go too small, otherwise EGT's and black smoke will be your newfound enemy. The Stealth 64 is a complete drop-in replacement that will support over 700 rear wheel horsepower.
The Cummins Stealth 64 is an upgraded, drop-in, replacement turbo for the 2004.5-2007 5.9L Cummins. It is designed to bolt in and require nothing other than removing the factory turbo and dropping this one in it's place. The turbo features a custom profile, 64mm (actual measurement 63.5mm) billet wheel perfectly mapped to a modified compressor cover and 65mm, 10-blade turbine inside the HE351's 9cm housing.
The Cummins Stealth 64 is one of the quickest spooling turbo's we have tested for the 5.9L Cummins. Even the most experienced enthusiast have a hard time telling the difference between a stock HE351 and a Stealth 64 during light throttle, daily driving. This is directly tied to the tight exhaust housing and light weight turbine wheel. If you are going to daily drive your Cummins, consider a quick spool-up a "must have".
Stock injector / built transmission trucks can expect an easy 100+ RWHP (Rear Wheel Horse Power) gain with no tune adjustment required. With the quick spool and improved top end power, this is a great turbo for towing performance. If you use your truck for work and frequently tow, the Stealth 64 is up to the task. Calibrated Power has measured excellent EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) control without sacrificing performance.
This charger is the perfect fit for those of you with future plans for a twin kit. Take your time and put the build together in stages. Start by upgrading the factory charger with an easy drop-in and build off it down the road. In a compound or twin kit, some have taken this turbo to 950-1,000HP! Of course, those builds include a more extensive list of supporting modifications. Still it is nice to know there is a proven formula to follow.
On the other hand, if you want streetable power out of a single turbo, the Stealth 64 delivers. When really pushed, this turbo is capable of over 700RWHP! Calibrated Power tested 100% over injectors with a 12mm CP3 pump on a 2007 Cummins while sporting the Stealth 64. The truck produced a whopping 722RWHP and made one mean machine on the street!

If I use this with my stock as twins what can I expect to have for HP for a 2007 5.9 cummins? Would I need supporting mods besides trans and fuel??
To many variables there for me to get you a number, tuning, trans type, supporting mods, fueling, load, tire size, gear ratio, size of other turbo, etc.
does this turbo come with a new wastegate solenoid??
I purchased this setup and it did NOT come with a wastegate solenoid. The photos are not accurate, nor is the description: ""The Stealth 64 is a complete drop-in replacement"".
Can this be used with stock fuel??
It may be used with stock fuel, but is intended for those that have done fueling and supporting mods first. This unit on stock fueling will likely be doggy and unresponsive at lower engine speeds. -AW.
I ordered the 64mm drop in and then a couple days later I noticed it said it didn’t come with the waste gate solenoid so my question is will a stock solenoid be used with this turbo?
Yes, you will want to transfer the wastegate solenoid from your old turbo onto the new one. -Ben
I have a 06 5.9l with 6 speed Manual Exhaust and intake with a bully dog program other in the it's all stock fueling wood this be a good dropin Turbo What power gangs would be expected if it would be a good one its a Daily driver and pulls a 9000 pound camp trailer?
Those are great turbos, they do work a little better with aftermarket injectors but still work really well with stock injectors. Very quick spool up. -Sands
