Will this help fuel economy. I've got friends with older trucks both Powerstroke 6.0 dually and 2002 Cummins 2500 and they claim 18-19GPH with no mods. I'm getting only 15-16gph. I recently took a trip to South Carolina from Connecticut and that was my average. I bought the truck used so not seeing any obvious mods to my 2010 F250 with the 6.4. I'm also seeing what I feel is sluggish with a load. Moved our boat around block boat weighs about 7000lbs but expected better with this truck. The truck has a warranty on it and would like to stay within warranty. I'm looking at a first step type idea at the moment. This cold air intake looks to be a good first step that should keep under warranty.?
It might increase mileage a little. It will not be drastic I would estimate .25 to .5 mpg's.
