The AIRAID MXP Series represents the ultimate in Cold Air Induction systems. Designed for high-performance diesel applications, the MXP Intakes start with a new one piece roto-molded air box that addresses all the short comings of the restrictive factory design. This system will produce up to 29 more horsepower and 55 ft/lbs of torque.

The 2013-2015 GM HD family of trucks now boast more power and torque than ever before thanks to some refinements to the Duramax LML 6.6L powerplant. After extensive research and development, Airaid was able to unlock an impressive 29 additional horsepower and 55 lb-ft of torque for the 2013 trucks with a new MXP Cold Air Intake system. This bolt-on intake system delivers impressive power gains, lowers EGTS and improves fuel efficiency all at the same time.

The new Airaid MXP Cold Air Intake includes a one-piece roto-molded cold air-box, a new modular intake tube, and an enormous 1700-CFM washable and reusable Premium Air Filter with their traditional oiled filter media. All AIRAID filters are hand-poured using a special urethane blend that prevents cracking and shrinkage in the most extreme conditions.

The key difference with this kit is the location of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensors on the intake tube. By eliminating restrictions in the factory intake tube and optimizing the location of each sensor, AIRAID is able to deliver impressive power increases while maintaining proper air/fuel ratios and lower EGT's without the need for aftermarket tuning! The new MAF sensor location requires the addition of a pigtail to extend the factory MAF sensor wiring. Featuring GM weatherpack connectors and oe quality construction, this supplied pigtail simply snaps into place and looks just like a factory piece.

Multiple Filter Options

Oiled, Reusable As the name implies, this is a reusable filter that you can simply wash, oil, and reuse! Featuring a cotton gauze filter media with a single synthetic layer at the inner most core, this filter protects down to four microns of filtration. Due largely in part to the synthetic layer, you can rest assured that this filter will not allow any oil to bypass the filter into the engine for maximum protection.

Syntha Max Dry, Reusable You guessed it, this is also a reusable filter, but utilizes a unique multiple layer synthetic filter media that does not require oiling. The entire line of Syntha Max dry filters protect your engine and flow just as well as their oiled counterpart, but with one less step when it comes time to service them. But what about the different colors? Don't worry, that's the only difference, so you can have the color of preference under your hood.
