With 57% more cooling surface area and a 33% thicker core (2.68" versus 2"), the Cool-It increases cooling effectiveness to approximately 90%, compared to only 70% for the stock intercooler. That can mean a temperature reduction of up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit over the stock intercooler. At the same time, the 36% larger inlet and discharge tubes (3.125" versus 2.625")can handle up to 90 psi of boost and over 1500 cfm, while holding pressure drop to less than 1 psi. Hi ive been looking at the rt700 twin turbo kit, im currently running industrial injections add a turbo set up on my 2012 6.7 cummins. i was wondering if getting this innercooler would truly benefit me with the set up im going to be running or if there is a better route to take thank you in advance?
Yes, with the additional airflow that your turbo system is producing, this inter-cooler would work very well with your application. Much more efficient cooling of the air over the factory.
