For Episode 2, we had the opportunity to tear into a JK and add some budget performance to the suspension in order to make it a trail worthy Jeep, while still maintaining excellent street manners. The build would involve various components to improve the ride quality, articulation, and durability to create a well-rounded vehicle. In order to accomplish this, we started out with a set of our front and rear Eibach Progressive Rate Coils to give the JK a level stance and improved ride. Next, a set of front and rear Fox Performance 2.0 shocks were mounted up to complement the coils.

The factory control arms are a serious limiting factor for the suspension's overall movement, thus we opted to upgrade these with a full set of Daystar's Poly Flex Control Arms to properly center the axles under the JK, as well as provide a proper range of motion. These arms are especially great because they are adjustable and will work on JK's with lifts ranging from 0-6". In order to provide much needed differential protection and some added style, a set of Nitro Dana 30 and Dana 44 differential covers were bolted up to the stock axle housings.

One thing the customer had already installed on the JK before our Zero2Hero build began was a set of MCE's front and rear Flexible Fenders. Not only do these fenders add plenty of clearance for larger tires, but they are great for trail use as they will flex when your JK may happen to come into contact with various trail hazards. As opposed to steel fenders that will cave in your sheet metal upon contact, these will literally bend when necessary and return right back into place once the obstacle is cleared. And finally, rounding out the build was a set of Method 17" Standard Matte Black Wheels. Not only are these wheels incredibly strong and light weight, their styling matches up great with this JK.
