When adding larger, more aggressive tires to your truck, the factory steering stabilizer isn't up to the task to handle the additional rotating mass. Carli Steering Stabilizers are built for just this purpose with many options to help fine tune the setup to your current selection of tires and future sets as well.
Carli offers low mount, high mount and opposing stabilizer kits for the Dodge/Ram lineup and high mount stabilizers for the Fords. The Ram steering design is mediocre at best and the addition of tunable stabilizers makes it far more manageable for street and dirt use. Ford steering isn't all too bad and doesn't need much to really make it shine aside from the single high mount stabilizer.
These stabilizers are Carli built and designed. They incorporate schrader valves on the shock bodies so that you can adjust the nitro pressure to accommodate for the difference forces seen on the truck. Most notably, these are radial pull from the tires and road crown. By tuning these symptoms out, you don't have to put your truck out of alignment for it to track straight down the road. This leads to longer component life and better performance of the steering components. These big trucks have not had the steering love the require and are built to a minimum. If you're going to up your game with your suspension, upgraded steering stabilizers are a must to get the most performance and life out of the parts you've already paid for.
