Carli Suspension is renowned for their numerous shock options to finely tune your rig for what you need it for. Everything from a street truck to a full-blown dedicated offroad rig are covered in their shock lineup. This is done so that you are able to find the shock package that works for your needs so that you're not getting too little or too much shock. Too little shock and you'll be blowing through them on the trail and too much shock can feel ridge on the road. Of course there is more to the equation than shocks but shocks are at the heart of the control for your trucks movement.
Starting with simpler, street minded suspension builds, Carli offers the Signature Series 2.0 shock package. It's a fully Carli designed shock that's made for the folks that don't need to go out and pound whoops but need some pavement ride quality improvements and better dirt road compliance. It's a great budget minded shock that performs well in the urban jungle. If you're wanting to take your city street ride up a notch and don't really plan on going off road, the Commuter 2.0 is a perfect fit! Designed to give your truck the best on-road ride quality possible. When paired with Carli coils/leafs, it makes your 8,000+ lbs truck feel like you're riding on a cloud with getting bounced around like an ol’ blown out Caddie.
For those requiring more off-road performance, Carli offers a whole slew of options. The Backcountry 2.0 is a Fox IFP remote reservoir shock system for those looking to go out and play on the forest roads while still having great street manners. If you want to play a little harder, there is no replacement for displacement and the Pintop 2.5 does everything the Backcountry 2.0 does but better. These 2 packages are by far the most popular in the Carli line-up. If you live in an area with nasty potholes and you're the type that you actually want to go offroading, the Pintop is generally what we recommend. If you're just tooling around the countryside or campsite, the Backcountry would suite you well at a better price tag than the Pintop.
For those who are serious about their offroad capabilities, Carli has some biggun kits. The Performance 2.5, Dominator 3.0 and Unchained 3.5 are all shock packages that are made to take the abuse and just keep going. Once you get to this level, if you're pushing your shocks to what they're designed for, you're in axle truss, roll cage, safety equipment territory. They all ride well on the street but they are tuned to go fast in the dirt. For those going out weekly for offroad adventures and demand the best that their truck can give, these are the shock packages for you. The Unchained 3.5 is borderline bolt-on race truck suspension... not for the faint of heart. If that's a bit too aggressive for you, the Performance 2.5 shock package still gives you plenty offroad performance paired with Long Arms. If you're somewhere in-between but don't want/need long arms, the Dominator is a perfect middle ground to help you go wild in the dirt.
