    We at Diesel Power Products offer a deferred core program in which we allow you to defer the typical upfront core charge when purchasing via credit card payment. All cores, whether the core charge was deferred or not, must be returned within 21 days from delivery date of product requiring core charge. Failure to do so can result in forfeiture of the entire core charge return. In the event you originally deferred the core charge, you authorize Diesel Power Products to charge you for the core charge.

    All cores must be returned to the original warehouse that original shipment was sent from. If a return label is provided in the original shipment, use this tag. If one is not included, contact us immediately, and we can provide you with the correct address of where the core(s) must be returned to, as well as an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. DO NOT rely on the return address on the original label as a source for where to ship to.

    If cores are shipped to the incorrect warehouse, your core money will be returned less the shipping cost for us to send the core(s) to the correct warehouse, or if you deferred the core you may be charged for the shipping amount.

    Cores that have been disassembled and/or have missing and/or damaged major components will not receive full core credit. Returned cores must be on a "like-for-like" basis, meaning that the returned core has the exact same fitment as the remanufactured component that was purchased. In the event that the core is not "like-for-like," your core may not be eligible for return / credit.

    Diesel Power Products has the right to alter this policy (i.e. extend the terms) for any reason. If you have an outstanding circumstance, contact us.

    What is a "Core Charge"?

    In order to understand what a core charge is, you must first understand what a core is. In the automotive industry, most products are manufactured from brand new materials. However, numerous products are also remanufactured, meaning that the manufacturer of the product takes a used product, typically removed from a vehicle, disassembles, and replaces all worn components of the master product. A great example of this is in regards to automatic transmissions in which the manufacturer takes an existing transmission, replaces all of the inner working components, such as the torque converter, valve body, etc. and merely reuses the case.

    Because aftermarket manufacturers require a steady stream of incoming cores to build, they charge a deposit on the core, known as a core charge, that is refunded upon receipt. In some cases, the core is not reusable, such as in the event of a cracked case, at which point the core deposit would not be credited as the core component is not reusable.

    If you plan on returning your core you have two options.

    OPTION 1:
    You can accept it, which means you will be charged for the part AND the core at time of purchase. You still have the option to send it back, and if you do, the core will be refunded back on the card used, presuming the core meets core criteria and the core is returned within 21 business days from originally receiving your order. If you have outstanding circumstances that would not allow the return to occur within 21 days, please contact us.

    OPTION 2 You can defer the core charge. If you defer it, you will not be charged a core at time of purchase. You will have 21 business days from the day you receive it to send it back. As long as the core is received within the 21 business days, you will not be charged. If 21 business days goes by and you do not send it back, the card on file will be charged the core amount. You still may send it back, and once received, we will issue the core amount as in store credit, pending any limitations as set forth by the manufacturer.Core deferral is limited to payment by credit card only.

The Stage 1 injectors are very popular for towing and everyday driving for those looking for a modest power increase coupled with the benefits of converting to a single shot injector. The new single shot design is more efficient and requires a custom tuned chip to achieve the best performance. Power increases are typically between 50-100 horsepower and fuel economy gains are also prevalent due to the more efficient single shot design.

180cc vs 160cc: 180cc is the best choice for most 1999-2003 trucks. The only time Full Force recommends the 160cc injectors is in high altitude locations or for the customer that doesn't want a large power increase. The only benefit of the 160cc is for converting to a more efficient single shot injector with a very small bump in power.

INJECTOR WARRANTY POLICY: The warranty does not cover injectors that fail due to bad fuel or trash in the oil system. This also applies to the replacement of scored plungers and barrel assemblies due to bad fuel or the labor to break injectors down to clean poppet valves from dirty oil.

The buyer is to understand that these are aftermarket, high performance items, and Diesel Power Products is not responsible for any damage caused to the injectors or engine due to high EGTs, overrevving, engine failure or any other abuse or neglect.

If there is an injector problem, the buyer will have to purchase a new injector and send in the faulty injector. The buyer will receive a refund on the new injector after the faulty injector is inspected and determined to be covered by the above warranty.

  • Casserly injectors are a single shot injector.1999-2003 7.3L Powerstroke's run a split shot injector from the factory. In order to switch from a split shot to a single shot injector, we recommend running custom tuning software for proper engine/fueling calibration.
  • An upfront core charge is required. Once your cores are received and processed, we will promptly issue credit back to you. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Greetings, I would like to give you a set of Early 99 7.3l injectors as cores and receive back your stage 1 injectors to place in a 2000 7.3l engine in my Excursion. Is this acceptable? The Early 99's are obviously a different type of injector than the 2000 7.3l had. Does this matter given the final application of the injector? Would I lose anything by doing this if you are amenable to doing the work? Thanks, Matt?

If you have an early 1999 7.3, with split-shot AB injectors you will need to replace them with split-shot AB's. If you are going to a Stage 1, which is a single-shot injector you must have custom tuning done, otherwise the it will have issues running. In which case it will not matter what injectors you send in. We charge the core upfront so at the time of purchase you will pay for the injectors AND the core. When the old injectors are received back the core charge will be refunded back on your card.


Is the black plug injector the number 8 injector??

Typically the black plug and AE identifies the Long Lead injector. This injector set will not use a long lead because they are all single shot injectors. The long lead was only used on split shot injectors.


How can I make sure to order the AB type for the early 99 and not the AD version that came on the later 99 to 2003 units??

These are performance single shot injectors that do not use injector codes like you have mentioned.

I have a 2002 F-350 Crew Cab 8 ft Bed Dually 7.3 AutomaticTruck with 178,000 miles on it when it cold outside it acts like the injectors Are not spraying properly runs fine once warmed up already replaced under valve cover harnesses and glow plugs wanting to possibly upgrade the injectors and maybe install a wicked wheel in the Turbo or possibly upgrade the turbo to a ball bearing Turbo Looking for Suggestions and prices?

Would I need a chip for these stage 1 injectors for stock 2001 7.3 since there would no longer be a longer number 8 injector??

Yes, you will need to custom tune the truck to run these injectors, as they are a SINGLE SHOT design, and the factory are SPLIT SHOT. -Ben
