If your coolant temperature sensor is not able to accurately determine the temperature of your coolant, it will send faulty readings to your ECM, which can cause your fan to not engage at the correct time, possibly even leading to overheating. This is a genuine Cummins direct replacement unit.

Where is it located when installed?
Those are located at the front of the engine. Front right corner screwed in from the top. 6.7 trucks with EGR intact will be hard to see as the cross over tube goes right over the sensor and there is a heat shield over it. DppSands
Do you stock a temperature control sensor for a 1995 5.9l 12 valve?
Looks like we do not have that on the site currently. You'd be looking for PN: 3920363. We should have that loaded on the site in the near future. -Ben
