The F6 is the latest release from DP-Tuner that allows you to update your chip with new tunes without even having to remove the chip from your truck! The F6 has all of the same great features as the F5, but with the added benefit of the SmartChip. The SmartChip consists of a plug mounted to the F6 PCM chip and an extension cable with mounting hardware. This will allow you to run the extension cable under the dash and mount the USB extension cable right next to your OBDII connector. So, as long as you have a remote laptop, you can merely plug the laptop into the DP-Tuner connector and perform updates.
The F6 V2 is also available with an optional Bluetooth module to ease in remote upgrades. If you like to update or try new tunes on a regular basis, having the Bluetooth module will make this process that much easier!
Another cool feature for the F6 is "Try Before You Buy." Once you own your F6 chip, you can create an account on DP-Tuner's website and download different programs to try out. The "free tune" will erase itself in ten key cycles, giving you the opportunity to load tunes before having to purchase them to see if they are what you're looking for.

I have bought an f-350 7.3 powerstroke recently and it had this tuner installed. I am curious how I could check to see what tunes were installed, and possibly adding new tunes.?
On something like that I would recommend contacting DP tuner directly. They would be able to look up what tunes were on that chip. You have to send it in to them. -Sands
