If you've ever seen the factory grid heater on a 6.7L Cummins, you realize how restrictive it truly is. Compared to the 5.9L's that featured the grid heater between the intake plenum and intake manifold (horn), the 6.7L's have the grid heater built into the plenum itself and have proven to be a substantial bottleneck in overall airflow. This replacement plenum from Fleece not only eliminates the grid heater, but also widens the opening to shove as much air into your engine as possible.
