If you own a heavy duty GM, changes are that at some point someone has doubted the reliability of your IFS (independent front suspension) front end. The factory tie rods are the culprit behind most of the rumors out there that give the IFS a bad name, typically failing under aggressive four wheel drive launches or offroading. Truth is, you can easily and inexpensively remedy the weak link in this system.
These sleeves install over the factory tie rods to substantially increase the strength and reliability of your factory tie rods, really one of those "must have" upgrades for any Chevrolet or GMC owner.
GRP's product line was originally intended for installation shops and to be purchased in bulk quantity, which in turn means that there are no installation instructions that come with any of their products. We feel that this compromise is easily countered with the exceptional craftsmanship that goes into these kits, as well as the price point. If you are unsure of how to install any of their components, but still want to tackle the job yourself, there are plenty of generic installation videos available online that will allow you to still take advantage of the benefits of purchasing GRP.
