When adding larger tires to your Canyon or Colorado, its imperative to change your ring and pinion ratio in order to maintain your power. With the addition of larger than stock tires, your RPM drops off when compared to the same speed with the original tires, causing a sluggish feeling, both on and off-road. This kit comes complete with front and rear 4.56 ring and pinion as well as all of the necessary seals, races, bearings and other small parts for a complete package.

Nitro gears are manufactured from 8620 steel gear forgings in the same manufacturing facilities as GM, Dodge, Ford Toyota. They are precision machined using computer controlled processes, heat treated, CNC triple-lapped and Rockwell tested for hardness. These extra steps ensure excellent fitment, ideal contact pattern and smooth, quiet operation.
