No more drone
I installed this on my LB7, I have a popular 4 inch system that is nice deep tone at idle that roars on acceleration. The drone was annoying. My family once again enjoy my truck, and I don't hafta crank the radio.

Thanks so much for the review. While having a loud exhaust is fun at times, it sure is nice to quiet down the drone, especially on road trips.

is this pipe long enough to connect to my 4 inch cat back exhaust 04.5 silverado 2500hd ext cab short box.?
Yes you could do that with that pipe if you wanted to. You might have to modify your current exhaust if it has the bolt on flange as this downpipe will not have that.

HI - 2002 LB7 6.6L Diesel 2500HD with aftermarket 4"" exhaust. Will this work as a direct replacement for my current downpipe? I want to quiet things down. I just swapped out mufflers and it is better, but I still would like it quieter (and no drone in the cabin). Will this help with that, and is it a direct replacement? I believe the current pipe bolts onto the turbo outlet and clamps onto the exhaust pipe leading to the muffler on the outlet. Thanks.?
