Get the height and clearance you are looking for with this monster 6" lift from BDS Suspension. What better way to break in your truck than with a 6" lift from BDS. The suspension system for the redesigned Ram 2500 trucks uses the same front components as the 6" system for the 2013 Ram 3500s. As with the 3500s, the radius arms are relocated with a uniquely designed bracket that mixes the ease of installation you get with an adapter-type bracket with the strength and durability of a full replacement radius arm mount bracket.

The new relocation bracket ties into both the factory radius arm frame mount and the side of the frame rail. At the frame, the new mount is fastened with specially machined sleeves and threaded inserts. The threaded inserts (2) do require a minor amount of welding in order to provide the strongest possible connection. This portion of the installation can be completed without welding and then transported to a weld shop to be welded if necessary.

In addition to the radius arm relocation, the kit includes everything else to properly lift the Ram Cummins 2500s. BDS went above and beyond spending extra design time developing coils that would ride great, handle the rigors of supporting a 3/4 ton truck and work properly with the unique factory coil mounts at the frame and axle.

Shock Options

This system is available with either BDS NX2 series custom valved gas shocks or Fox 2.0 series gas front shocks for increased control and fade-free performance.

• Single BDS NX2 Series - BDS NX2 series gas shocks offer impressive performance on and offroad. They use a nitrogen charged, twin tube design with 10-stage velocity sensitive valving for lightning fast dampening and superior control.
• Single Fox 2.0 Series - Fox 2.0 performance series shocks have been tuned and tested by both Fox and BDS Suspension to maximize performance specific to each application and to every BDS Suspension system. The basic shock design is based on proven Fox Racing Shox race products, but re-designed to maximize the ride quality, handling, and control of your BDS equipped truck or jeep, whether on or off the road.
• Dual BDS NX2 Series - BDS NX2 series gas shocks offer impressive performance on and offroad. They use a nitrogen charged, twin tube design with 10-stage velocity sensitive valving for lightning fast dampening and superior control. This option comes with a dual shock hoop. It also requires a shock in the factory location or appropriate limiting straps to avoid hanging the front axle from the dual shock cylinders. This selection automatically adds the factory location shocks.
• Dual Fox 2.0 Series - Choose dual front Fox 2.0 series shocks for a predictable ride capable of handling the roughest conditions with fade-free performance.This option comes with a dual shock hoop. It also requires a shock in the factory location or appropriate limiting straps to avoid hanging the front axle from the dual shock cylinders. This selection automatically adds the factory location shocks.

Dual Shock Note: - The front dual shock mounting kits are popular on Ram trucks allowing for an additional shock at each of the front corners of the vehicle for extra control. The full hoop design works with the factory axle shock mount and locates the dual shocks to the back side of the coil spring, mimicking the factory shock location. The hoop itself is made from 1.75" x 0.188" wall DOM tubing with a reinforced mounting tab that locates off the factory upper shock mount. 2 addition mount points at the frame make for a strong design that looks great.Minor welding is required to add a support gusset to the factory axle shock mount and to add the provided steering stops if the tire/wheel combo installed gets too close to the shocks.

Steering Stabilizer Options

You have a TON of options in upgrading your steering stabilizer shock with this kit from BDS. You can keep your existing steering stabilizer, or go to a single or dual BDS NX2, 9500, or even a Fox 2.0 series shock.

• Stock Steering Stabilizer - Not much explanation needed here, this option has you reusing your existing stabilizer.
• Single BDS NX2 - Choose this option to replace the factory steering stabilizer and upgrade to a BDS NX2 series single steering stabilizer.
• Single Fox 2.0 - FOX 2.0 Performance Series Steering Stabilizer. This new stabilizer is designed for just that - specifically to be a stabilizer. These are made from the same base components as the 2.0 performance series shocks and properly valved and pressurized to be the ultimate stabilizer. The 50/50 valving and lower 50 psi nitrogen charge (compared to 200 psi in the 2.0 shocks) provide neutral dampening so they will not create a "pull" when installed in a single stabilizer setup. Fitted with the BDS/Fox logo sticker they are a perfect match to the BDS/Fox 2.0 shocks and a huge performance upgrade from a standard hydraulic steering stabilizer.
• Dual BDS NX2 - Choose this end to end design dual steering stabilizer for added handling control. Includes Mounting Bracket.

Front Brake Line Kit Upgrade

BDS offers a Kevlar lined Stainless Steel Braided Front Brake Line Kit that is 31" in length. This assembly does comply with D.O.T regulations and is legal in all 50 states. Features a Teflon inner core (chemically inert) Approved for use with all brake fluids, including D.O.T. 5 Silicone.

Carrier bearing Drop Kit

If you will be installing this suspension system on a truck with a two piece rear driveshaft, we highly recommend installing a carrier bearing drop to avoid excessive driveshaft angles.
