The rotors are a dimpled and slotted design that not only looks awesome, but also assists in cooling the rotor and the pads when under harsh stopping conditions to prevent brake fade and fatigue.

Recent global supply and facility changes has resulted in EBC needing to move with those changes. EBC has been very careful to maintain quality as they move forward. As a result, EBC is in the process of phasing out rotors with the black finish, therefore you might receive rotors without it.
