The Super Duty Commuter 2.0 system is designed for people seeking the best on-road ride quality that don't plan to off-road their vehicle. Utilizing Fox 2.0" internal reservoir shocks, Carli has developed a tune that delivers all around comfort and ride quality designed for on-road, in town, highway, and towing/hauling. The Fox 2.0s boast extruded aluminum construction with a clear anodizing for corrosion resistance, are fully rebuildable and are built with hour-glass bushings in the rod-ends. Fox builds these shocks with their legendary red shock oil that flows well down to -55° F. Unlike most of our suspension systems, the Commuter was tuned with 20", factory wheels on factory Michelin tires given many in the entry level, 2.5" lift market want the most bang for their buck and will continue to run the factory wheels and tires.
The truck will sit 2.5" higher in the front and have more wheel travel thanks to the lighter rate Carli Coil Springs. The Adjustable Track Bar centers the front axle and Stainless Brake Lines firm up braking and ensure there is enough line for the newfound travel. To round off the front end, you'll also receive Caster Shims to tighten the steering and a fabricated, High-Clearance Bump Stop Drop to keep the springs clear from the contacting the factory bump stop. The front sway bar geometry will also receive an upgrade with your choice of Sway Bar Drop Brackets (more economical option that maintains the factory sway bar end links) or a set of Extended Sway Bar End Links, a FAR more robust option. The replacement End Links are the only option that is compatible with a snow plow bracket.
The Commuter is the beginning of Carli's no-compromise, custom tuned suspensions. The 2.5" lift variation was tuned with the Progressive Add-a-Pack. The Add-a-Pack installs in place of the lower, factory overload spring effectively making the factory leaf spring pack progressive in nature. In the 2017 platform, the factory block is eliminated with the installation of the Add-a-Pack; thus, axle wrap and wheel hop are non-existent. A rear bump stop drop is included to bridge the distance lost by removing the factory block.
Payload capacity is maintained and the rear end becomes a touch softer while being far more planted and predictable. The custom tuning in the rear Fox 2.0" is optimized to control the combination of the Progressive Add-a-Pack combined with the factory main pack; it's for this reason that Carli advises against upgrading to the Full Progressive Spring Pack (too much rebound valving for a lighter rate spring).
Wheel and Tire: Carli recommends 17"-18" wheels, no more than 9" wide with 5.5" of backspacing with Carli Fabricated Radius Arms or 5" Backspace with factory arms; 5" will require a bit more trimming. Tires, 37x12.5" will fit with some trimming; 35" will likely fit without trimming. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures. The ride will firm up as you go larger in wheel diameter.IMPORTANT NOTES:
- WHEELS: Carli Recommends a 17"-18" Wheel, no more than 9" wide with 5" - 5.5" of Backspacing on Leveling Systems
- TIRES: 35", E-Rated Tire Fitment is Recommended. Recommended unloaded Tire Pressure 45F/40R.
- RECOMMENDED CONFIGURATION: Carli Leveling Systems are Designed and Tested on Vehicles with 17"-18" Wheels with 35", E-Rated Tires. Stock wheels and tires or running a larger wheel diameter will result in a stiffer ride.
- ADD-A-PACKS: Add-A-Pack option requires NO BLOCKS to achieve level stance. Carli makes the Add-A-Packs optional for those that have either purchased them previously or would prefer to upgrade to the Full Replacement Spring Pack.

Will the rear shocks still work with 2017 4x4 f250 rear stock suspension without add a packs??
Yes, these will work with both.
I have a 17 f350 cab chassis. Can the rear add a leafs b installed on a cab chassis and will they help w payload and ride w me running a welding bed ???
The rear add a leafs would not work for your application. I would recommend air bags. You also have to run a 16 model track bar not the 17 in that kit for the C&C. SA
What is your suggestion for the rear with this kit (commuter 2.0)? Do I need the add the carli add upgrade? I'm installing firestone airbags and will be towing. I'm running 35's on 22"" 10 lugs.?
