The stock Holset HX35 and HY35 turbos found on the 2nd Generation (1994-2002) Cummins were a great, dependable turbo on trucks without fueling enhancements. But as both these turbos gain considerable miles, and engine modifications are done to the truck to increase horsepower, these turbos tend to fail. Using a genuine Borg Warner turbo with an upgraded billet compressor wheel and HX40 downpipe, this system will bolt in place of the factory setup and deliver a substantial increase in power potential. This system offers a very wide applicable power range and is capable of supporting from 300 up to 500 horsepower. You'll gain an increase in power with quick turbo spool up coupled with lower EGT's (Exhaust Gas Temperatures).
