The line of Borg Warner SX-E turbos have taken the diesel performance industry by storm. No longer do manufacturers have to modify S300 and S400 turbos until there is basically nothing left of the original charger. The SX-E's are a purpose built turbo designed specifically for diesel performance to deliver substantially more airflow and quicker spool up compared to their non-SX-E counterparts. Industrial has put these kits together in conjunction with an SX-E turbo to deliver you a bolt-on, ready to go system for added performance. Upgrading your turbo will not only increase the power, but widen the overall powerband, reduce EGT's (Exhaust Gas Temperatures), eliminate the failure prone VGT (Variable Geometry Turbo) and more.
The Industrial Injection 6.7L Dodge S300 SX-E Single Turbo Kit utilizes the extremely popular S300 SX-E turbo and center mounts it on a high flow T4 manifold in a 2nd gen style application. And for those that aren't familiar what this means, essentially, the 1994-2002 Cummins, commonly referred to as a "2nd Gen" featured a turbo and manifold that is centered on the head (between cylinders three and four). However, all subsequent model years feature an offset design that places the turbo on cylinders four and five, meaning the front cylinders don't receive as much airflow as the rear. This kit will revise the design to center the turbo on your head, the way it should have been done from the factory.
The new SX-E turbos come standard with an upgraded 360 degree thrust bearing and FMW (Forged Milled Wheel) to provide you with ultimate performance and reliability. This kit offers multiple turbo options to allow you to perfectly setup your truck exactly how you want it from numerous sizes to various A/R ratios, from stock to heavily modified, Industrial Injection has you covered!
