How much will these springs settle? Do they start out taller and then settle into the 4.5"" ? Thanks,?
Generally speaking they do no settle. Out of the box is close to ride height.
Is the price listed for each coil spring or is it a pair??
Sold as a pair.
Can you stack this with the 4in BDS radius arm lift to make it a 4.5in lift or will the front be higher than the back?
It should get you 4.5 in of lift in the front. You will have to check your caster angle when installed, if it can't be adjusted into spec you may have to run drop brackets. BDS says those Radius arms are good for 4in of lift. SA
I have a gas powered truck. I assume a diesel spring will lift the lighter gas motor 1/2"" or so higher, but I am not sure and highly doubt I am the first to prefer Carli over what is offered for gas-specific trucks. Also, do you know Carli's spring rate? I am assuming that their ""soft"" rate with proprietary Fox shock valving will ride better than competitors, and that the 4.5"" will be more supple than the shorter 2.5"".?
Hello, Unfortunately even with the softer spring rate of the Carli coils, a truck with a gas motor will have a rougher ride and put the truck at an incorrect level for most lift kits. The front end will raise about 1"" above the 4.5"" ride height for the diesel engines. -DK
will a track bar bracket or adjustable track bar be required to keep the axle centered??
Yes, we would recommend the Carli track bar. It is adjustable from 2.5-4.5 inches of lift. DppSands
What is the full length of coil?
The length of the coil is not listed in Carli's specs. It would be best to shoot our tech's a call if you have questions regarding these coils. -Ben
