Born and raised in Spokane, I was schooled at Mead Senior High School. There I followed my older brother into the sport of track and field, quickly betting him at everything event he competed in and finishing high school good enough to compete at the collegiate level for Spokane Falls community college, then at Central Washington University. While I ran track for those schools, I decided to get a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
I met my wife, Katie, in college while attending Spokane Falls Community College. We bought a house together In the Spokane area. My wife and I both work for local businesses, we love the Inland Northwest and can’t see ourselves living or working anywhere else.
