I was brought up in the diesel community by a friend. Late night he was talking about everything he had done to his truck. Honestly, I never really thought they could make a whole lot of power. He invited me to come work on his truck and we ended up swapping the turbo out. After some time spent overseas, I came back and bought my first diesel and it has been here ever since. I started with some basic modifications, but I soon realized, I NEED MORE POWER!!
I've been to Rudy’s and Daytona beach. Initially, I leaned more towards the performance side of the truck world but still saw the enjoyment and how much it brought folks together showing all the hard work that has been put into their truck and what it can do, whether its sporting some 14 wide tires or ripping down the track with an 11 second quarter mile.
I have a 2012 Ram 2500 which I've driven cross country twice in the thing. I've done some basics to it with some minor custom interior work. If I have spare time, I like finding something to do with the truck, whether its washing or waxing the truck or getting some parts put on it. The plan down the road is making 600 horsepower but still maintain daily drivability.
After getting out of the Marine Corps, I had a few options to choose from as far as career paths. I ended up going to school for Diesel Technology and really had a fascination with how diesels function and operate and the wide range of applications it can be used for, whether its making the greatest hauler, the fastest truck down the track, or the most comfortably riding truck. Millions of ways to go about it, but it’s definitely fun figuring out what combinations work best.
