I have been turning wrenches since before I was old enough to drive. Early on, I mostly worked with my grandpa on boats and had no idea that I would end up in the diesel industry. Diesels were just another vehicle to me back then, nothing special. But that started to change the summer after high school when I worked in a shop that manufactured mobile shredding trucks. I worked as an apprentice to a mechanic who taught me about diesel engines. That’s when diesel started becoming less voodoo to me and more interesting. Next, I enrolled in the diesel and heavy equipment program at the local community college and went on to work as a tech at a semi-truck dealership. I also worked at a truck recycling yard and did a couple seasonal jobs driving and maintaining equipment on a farm.
I heard about Power Products Unlimited on the radio. They ran an ad on a local rock station saying they were looking for a sales tech. I knew Power Products would be a great opportunity for me to expand my knowledge and transition into sales, so I sent in my resume. Some time passed, but eventually, I got a call from Cooper. He asked if I was still interested. Heck yeah, I was interested. I interviewed the next day, and here I am today, loving every minute of it!
