Hi, I want to mount a Holset turbo to a T-4 flange. Will this adapter work? The way I read the description it is intended to work opposite of what I'm planning. IS there any reason it won't work in reverse? Thanks...Bob?
This adapter would be bi-sexual and allow you to go either way with t-4 or t-3 mounting.
So with this I won't need a full kit to put say a s366 turbo on my 6.0? How does it work with the down pipe and such??
This will only adapt a T4 flange size turbo to a T3 size flange. The 6.0 does not use a T3 flange from the factory. Unless it has been converted to use a T3 flange this guy wouldn't do anything for you. Doing a 366 would require custom piping all the way around.
So with this adapter I can replace my factory turbo on my 1999 7.3 with any T4 style turbo??
No, the factory turbo mount on these trucks use a turbo pedestal to mount the factory turbo.
I have a 17' 6.7l power stroke, will this work on my truck??
If you had an aftermarket turbo setup that used a T3 flange then yes it would. But it will not work on a factory turbo setup.
Bought an undivided, t4 garrett turbo. Will the divide in the adapter harm anything??
Should have no negative affect no. Or you could simply cut out the divider if need.
I have a 12valve that my manifold has 4 studs on the manifold side and in the picture it looks like a common rail type flange set up. I know I would need to pull my studs but would I have to drill out the other 2 holes or do y'all have one for the 12valve trucks??
This is just a universal T4-T3 adapter it is not made to fit any thing. Give us a call and we can go over some options for you.
I have a 1991 Cummins with baby H1C(believe a T3) I want to swap a HX35(T4). I believe this is the part needed for the conversion. Yes or no? Thanks?
The HX35 should use a T3 manifold.
I have 2007 6.7 Cummins. I think my manifold is cracked and I want to eventually upgrade to a bigger turbo. Can I purchase a manifold that has the bigger T4 and use this to downsize it to my current stock turbo??
The stock turbo has a proprietary flange, it is not a traditional T3 or T4.
