So you've got a newer Chevy HD and want to level the suspension out, possibly to fit some larger tires. If you're ready for a MASSIVE increase in suspension performance with the added benefit of a level stance, you need to check out this Coilover Conversion System from BDS!
Please select from the options whether your vehicle has rear factory overload springs or not, as well as whether you would like to upgrade from the standard rear Fox 2.0 IFP Shocks to Fox 2.5 Remote Reservoir Shocks.

Along with new DSC coilovers, the system integrates high-strength upper and lower mid travel control arms improving wheel travel by 30%, differential relocation and longer sway bar links. These coilover systems are designed for 2-3'' of lift and come preset at 2.5'' of lift for optimal up and down travel. Take your late model GM HD truck to the next level with BDS Suspension and FOX!Kit ID Number(s):

For years now, Chevy Silverado HD and GMC Sierra/Denali HD owners have been limited to the traditional torsion bar system suspension options. BDS Suspension is excited to add next level technology for improved performance. Adding to the current 4.5" and 6.5" high clearance no torsion bar drop systems offered for 2011+ Chevy/GMC HD trucks, BDS delivers this 2-3" coilover conversion systems for superior ride quality and performance over any terrain. These coilover systems have been engineered and tested for improved comfort, fade free performance, and increased suspension travel.
At the heart of the system is a pair of FOX 2.5 Factory Series Coilover with remote DSC reservoir. These coilovers offer vastly superior dampening for impressive capability to soak up the harshest terrains offroad while offering comfort on your daily commute. These FOX coilovers feature a smooth bore and honed seamless alloy body, 7/8" hardened stainless steel shaft, FOX coil springs, black anodized machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum mounts and FOX's DSC (dual speed compression) adjustment technology. DSC is the next big thing in suspension performance allowing for easy adjustment of the vehicle's suspension compression dampening to dial in the ideal ride performance to soak up the bumps, both large and small. The DSC has 12 adjustment points for the high speed compression as well as 10 adjustment points for the low speed compression allowing you to make large or small changes to further improve your performance. Adjustments can be made by simply twisting the "blue" high speed and "gold" low speed compression knobs located on the end of the remote reservoir of the FOX 2.5 coilovers. No tools or shop adjustments needed, allowing you to tune the suspension out on the trail. The coilovers come fully assembled, preset for 2.5" of lift for optimal wheel travel, but can be adjusted between 2-3" of lift with the use of (#129600) spanner wrench. To mount the coilovers, BDS supplies a bolt-on bracket that installs on the frame in the shock mount location. A weld-in support gusset is used to reinforce the upper mount, however still allows the kit to be completely reversible if the owner ever chooses to revert back to the torsion bar style suspension and upgrade the suspension on another truck.
In addition to replacing the factory torsion bars, the upper and lower control arms are upgraded to improved strength, travel, and accommodate the new coilovers. The uppers are FOX's new performance upper control arms designed specifically for this system to integrate with the 2.5 coilovers. The arms are fabricated from large 1.5" OD x .120-wall chromoly tubing, fully TIG welded for the highest quality, strength and durability. The arms utilize premium Moog brand ball joints and factory style rubber bushings for smooth, quiet operation and superior durability when compared to arms with uni-balls, poly bushings or heims. The ball joint cups are repositioned for optimal performance allowing a 30% improvement in wheel travel. The FOX upper control arms are finished in a durable black powdercoat and include a FOX branded billet aluminum ball joint dust cap. The control arms come fully assembled for easy install right out of the box. To compliment the uppers, the new lower control arms are built from high strength steel, fully boxed with internally gusseted. These lower arms integrate new reinforced lower coilover mounts and similar to the uppers use durometer specific rubber bushings at the frame mount and high quality Moog ball joints at the knuckle mount for quiet, low maintenance operation.
Rounding out the front suspension BDS supplies front differential relocation to correct CV axle operating angle to optimize CV performance. The relocation hardware installs easily with no differential modification needed while also allowing the reinstallation of the factory skid plate. Longer sway bar links are also included and bolt directly in place of the factory links to correct sway bar operating angle.
In the rear, BDS offers a simple block and u-bolt kit that retains ride quality and full use of the factory overload spring (if equipped). The rear comes standard with precision tuned FOX 2.0 IFP gas shocks and is available with optional FOX factory series 2.5 reservoir shocks to further improve performance. Additional options and accessories are in development; stay tuned for more information as new products are released. The system allows for 33-34'' tires to be installed with minor trimming 35'' tires with moderate trimming.

Is this coil over 2-3 conversion kit capable of providing level stance without raising the rear of the truck?
Yes that is correct.
To rvmonkey. Did you set it at the lowest position you could set it? Also what truck do you have it on because I think the 1 ton trucks set lower in the rear for some reason. I have a 2011 3/4 ton and the guys at bids said it would set level with just the front portion of this kit installed.?
That 2011 you have should sit level when those c/o's are set at the lowest setting. Most of the leveling kits out there are for 2-2.5 inch.
Does this kit come with the wrench to go to 3 in?
No this product does not come with a spanner wrench.
can this kit be ran with factory 17"" dually wheels?
No it would not be able to be ran with factory Dually wheels.
Will I be able to run stock 20"" wheels on a 2019 GMC Denali 2500HD with this setup? Not sure of the stock back spacing.?
You could run the wheels just fine dependent on what size tires you want to run. DppSands
What is the estimated install time for a shop??
BDS's site states it is approximately a 6 hour install. Assuming the shop rate is $100, you'd be looking at $600. Realistically, you are looking more towards 8-10 hours. -Ben
For the new 2020 GMC BDS 2.5 The new 2020 GMC 2500/3500 HD are there new up grades on the 2.5 BDS lifts? BDS does not list 2020 trucks in there web site?
Nothing has been released yet for the 2020 model at this time. -Marcus
I have a 2015 hd3500 with 20" Mayhem wheels. I am running 33 12.50 tires. Would I be able to run this kit? Really looking for better ride quality. Truck pulls fifth wheel rv 90% of the time.?
That will depend on the width and offset or backspace of the wheel. If it is 9" wide, and has 5-5.5" of backspace, light trimming will be required. -Ben
