The 6.7L Ford Powerstrokes come equipped with a 6R140 automatic transmission that has proven itself as one of the best transmissions on the market from the factory. One of the biggest benefits to this transmission is that through simple tuning, the transmission can be adjusted for different shift points, lock up parameters, line pressure, and many other variables.
On top of this, the transmission's computer is constantly watching what the rest of the vehicle is doing, and compensating its own parameters to adjust for this. But as with all things, there is always a breaking point, and we are always searching for new products to increase the breaking point of your 6R140.
