Ram threw the aftermarket a huge curveball with the release of the 2014 2500's. Coil springs in the tail of a heavy duty pickup were a foreign concept, but Carli took the new applications and immediately went to testing. Carli's multi-rate springs feature different width coil spacing, making them a variable spring rate. Initially it is easy to compress these springs for the first couple of inches. As you apply more force, the coils come closer to each other. The more force you apply to the spring, the more the rate increases. So, these springs are compliant to very small bumps on the road, while achieving control when needed off road, hard braking, and turning. These springs allow you to achieve the highest performance while driving hard and providing a smooth, comfortable drive the rest of the time, while still providing your factory payload capabilities.

If I were to purchase these do I need anything else like longer sway bar links or the panhandle bar bracket??
If you just installed those the rear will feel like it is floating a little. We would recommend upgraded rear shocks and the track bar drop bracket and sway bar end links.,We would recommend a little stronger shock and the track bar drop and extended sway bar links. Other wise with the lighter springs it will feel like it floats a little more. You also lose about 15% payload capacity.
I have the Carli 2.5"" Leveling kit with Carli Radius Arms, Carli Drop Brackets, Carli Torsion Sway Bar and the Fox Shocks front and rear etc... 2 Problems, Rear end doesn't perform as well as the front end (front end is great!) and 2nd I have the prerunner look with the front being higher than the rear due to the Radius Arm Drop brackets if I had to guess. So will these coils match the tune of the rear fox shocks and is the one inch above factory going to help level out my truck which is about one in taller in the front wheel well than the rear wheel well.?
Yes it will level the truck out. And those are the same shocks Carli uses in their Commuter kit so they will work perfect with the shocks you have. We would recommend a drop trackbar bracket and extended rear sway bar links also. Atleast a drop track bar bracket to recenter the axle.
If I were to install airbags in addition to these new coils, would that counter the loss of payload??
Those springs maintain factory payload. Air bags can definitely help and are more stable for towing. SNA
Would I be able to swap these with the rear coils in my ram 1500 with a 6"" lift to provide for a better trailer application? I only use it to tow once in a while but the 1500 springs bottom out too easy, would it be a lot of custom Fab to make them fit or are the springs the same diameter??
Nobody that we know of has ever tried it but it would require quite a bit of fab work. Would be better to get an airbag setup for towing. DppSands
